The Pool Party - 2
February 3rd, 2022 This is a continuation of my trip out to Alden and Josh Prescott's clothes free Sunday's gathering in the Palisades. I waited in the driveway of the walled compound as the large metal gate rolled back revealing the cobblestone entrance court and impressive modern house on a sprawling property. Josh Prescott, a bald man in his 60’s, greeted me at the front door wearing swim trunks and a wide grin. “Alden will be so happy you are here”, he said, closing the door as I stepped into the foyer. Pointing down to shorts he assures me, “Don’t worry, these are just to answer the door with.” “Is this Valerie?” Alden exclaimed as she walks down some steps from the courtyard to greet me in the Foyer. Totally naked, she greets me with a big hug. Their house is grand and modern, with marble floors and soaring glass windows that show a lush green courtyard at the heart of the rambling structure. Impressive artworks accent the corridors and walls. Before we leave the foyer, Josh peels off his trunks and puts them in a credenza in the foyer. We head down the gallery along side the courtyard and I can catch glimpses of a shimmering turquoise pool thru gaps in the meticulously sculpted hedges.
When we step out into the courtyard area, we are greeted by two rowdy, naked boys. “These twins belong to my daughter, Alice. She is always too busy to join us, but the boy’s wouldn’t miss our pool gatherings for anything.” “Grandma,” one of the twins calls out pointing to a large palm by the pool, “Alex got my noodle stuck up in the tree.” “I’ll help you get it down.” I offer. The boy accepts my offer, with one condition, “Ok, but you have to take your clothes off after you get it down.” We step out to the pool deck and there are three or four families relaxing and enjoying time by the pool. At this point I am the only one dressed and everyone else is naked. There is a mix of seniors, young parents, and kids and it really reminds me of being at Muir Grove. Alden introduces me to everyone at the get together and everyone is very friendly and I am immediately accepted as family. I have kept my clothes on to this point because I was making sure this was a true naturist environment, focused on enjoying non-sexual nudity. After meeting all the families, I knew this is where I should be and I am comfortable enough to take my clothes off to relax. There is a young girl, maybe 3rd grade named Chloe who watches me get undressed as she is munching an ice cream cone. “Do you like Ariel, the little mermaid?” She asks me as I peel off my jeans. I am completely naked now and I hoist her up to my shoulders. “I love Ariel! She is one of my favorites!” I begin to sing Under the Sea from the little mermaid and Chloe giggles with delight. I love every minute of being at Prescott's and I can't wait to bring Tony.

Wow, what an incredible experience you're sharing here Val. Another proof, is we really need more, that wholesome nudism/naturism is a fantastic way of living. We can't wait to know whether Tony's going to enjoy naturism as much as you are, but I'm sure you'll help him get comfortable and will guide him. Another set of fantastic drawings by the way. You could definitely make it a full book with them or do some prints on Etsy for instance to hang on walls. I would be one of your customers for sure. Have a great day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteThank you Marc. I really appreciate that you noticed that extra effort put into the illustrations for this post. This blog is all about where this journey into naturism has taken me, and this afternoon experience at the Prescott's couldn't be a better milestone of that journey. Such a wonderful experience, being totally excepted, not needing to cover of hide anything about myself, it is something that words alone can't describe, so maybe my drawings help convey that feeling of warmth and togetherness as well.
ReplyDelete"my drawings help convey that feeling of warmth and togetherness". They really do. They're lovely. This post, along with all your others, are proofs that nudism, when shared, is a wonderful bonding experience. I don't think there's another lifestyle that provide that sense of camaraderie among fellow practitioners. Enjoy your weekend!
DeleteHi, I just found your blog from someone sharing it on the MeWe social network. I really appreciate your writing style and I love your art! My daughter is a budding young artist, and I think she will appreciate your style as well. Ironically her name is Chloe.
ReplyDeleteI have loved reading about your many experiences! You are so much ahead of the body acceptance curve compared to most young people and indeed compared to most in the "developed world." I wish that more young people would have experiences like your LARP troupe of live and let live and nudity is no big deal. It could heal many things in our world. I can't wait to hear how Tony feels about the Sunday gatherings.
Thank you for stopping by the blog and leaving your lovely comments and thoughts. I am so glad your daughter is an artists and its great you encourage her. I hope my stories do encourage other young people and help them to accept themselves. Please be well and thanks for being so positive.
DeleteHey Valerie! Hope you are well. I know you must be very busy with school and life. Just wanted you to know that I really enjoy your posts and beautiful art, and I'm missing new episodes. I'm sure I'm not the only one! Hope to see more in the future. Take care!
ReplyDeleteYes, things have been crazy lately, but thanks for checking up on me. I may not be as productive as I have been in the past, but there are still plenty of stories to tell and my life is still blessed and full or richness. Stay well,
DeleteVal
